¡We run in Estepona!
PENDIENTE DE ACTUALIZACIÓN Y APERTURA DE INSCRIPCIONES
The Cities Race against Pancreatic Cancer will be held in Estepona, in the Plaza del Ajedrez, on Sunday 1 December 2024 from 10:30 am. It is promoted by ACANPAN (Pancreatic Cancer Association), AESPANC (Spanish Association of Pancreatology) and AEG (Spanish Association of Gastroenterology) and organised by the Town Hall of Estepona. In collaboration with Ola Divers and Dorsalchip S.L.U.
Participation:
All those who wish to take part in this event may do so, as long as they are correctly registered, both in time and form.
- Distances and route
The race will be run over a distance of 6,000 metres, through the streets of the city centre from the Plaza del Ajedrez and returning to the same.
- Categories
The following categories will be established, with trophies for the first 3 classified in each category.
- Race Distance 6 kilometres Absolute Male. Born in 2013 to 2010
- Distance Race 6 kilometres Absolute Female. Born in 2013 to 2010
- Distance Race Distance 6 kilometres Absolute Male. Born in 2.009 until 1984
- Distance Race Distance 6 kilometres Absolute Female. Born in 2009 to 1984
- Distance Race Distance 6 kilometres Absolute Male. Born in 1983 and earlier
- Distance Race Distance 6 kilometres Absolute Female. Born in 1983 and earlier
- Walking Walk Distance 6 kilometres. Absolute Male and Female. Born in 2.009 and earlier. The Walk will not be competitive, and there will be no classifications.
- Walking Walk Distance 6 kilometres. Infantil Male and Female. Born in 2011 and later. The Walk will not be competitive, and will not have classifications.
- Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the first three in each category.
The following prizes will be raffled among all participants:
Two dinners at La Taberna del Alabardero.
Sevilla Fútbol Club T-shirt signed by the players.
Real Betis Balompié T-shirt signed by the players
Unicaja Basketball T-shirt signed by a player from last season.
- Standings
The official general classification will be published the day after the race on the website https://carreracancerpancreas.es/carrera-estepona/
REGISTRATION:
- Registration for both the Fun Run and the Walking Walk costs 12€.
In the children’s category the cost will be 6 €.
The registration fee will be donated in full to Pancreatic Cancer research.
- Deadline for registration
The deadline for registration is from 8th October until Thursday 28th November 2024 at 15:00
Registration will be made at www.carreracancerpancreas.es. No registrations will be accepted after the deadline or on the day of the race.
- Disqualifications
The medical service of the competition and/or the race management are entitled to withdraw during the race:
- Any athlete who shows a bad physical condition.
- Any athlete who does not complete the entire course.
- Any athlete who shows unsportsmanlike behaviour.
- Vehicles
The only vehicles authorised to follow the race are those designated and with the badge provided by the organisers. It is strictly forbidden to follow the runners by car, motorbike or bicycle, due to the danger that this could pose to the athletes.
- Information
COLLECTION OF T-SHIRTS, RACE BIBS AND CHIP:
The collection of bib numbers and T-shirts will take place prior to the day of the race at Eco&Bike, Calle Málaga, 10, Estepona, on Thursday and Friday 28th and 29th November between 16:00 and 18:00, and on Saturday 30th November between 11:00 and 17:00.
On the day of the event, 1st December 2024, from 09:00 to 10:00 in the Plaza del Ajedrez.
MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
The Organisation will have a medical service available from half an hour before the start of the race until half an hour after the finish.
Participation in the event is at the participants’ own risk and responsibility.
ACCEPTANCE
All participants, by registering, accept these rules and regulations and in case of doubt or if any situation arises that is not reflected in the same, the Organising Committee will be in charge.
RIGHT OF IMAGE
Acceptance of these regulations implies that the participant authorises the organisation to record all or part of his/her participation in the event and gives his/her consent for his/her image to be used as a result of the promotion and dissemination of the event in which he/she has participated without the right to receive any financial compensation whatsoever.

Se establecen las siguientes categorías en las que tendrán trofeo los 3 primeros clasificados en cada una de ellas.
Distancia 5 Km:
Nacidos en el año 2006 y anteriores
- Absoluta. Masculina
- Absoluta. Femenina
Distancia 10 Km:
Nacidos en el año 2006 y anteriores
- Absoluta. Masculina
- Absoluta. Femenina
Infantil 400 mts:
Nacidos en el año 2007 y posteriores
- Infantil Masculino
- Infantil Femenino
* La Marcha Caminando no será competitiva, no tendrá clasificación.
La clasificación general oficial se publicará al día siguiente de la carrera en esta página.
